Administrator │ Stellenbosch │ 6 month Fixed Term

Job Purpose:

The administrator will provide administrative services and support to ensure the efficient operation of Old Nectar via supporting the CEO and other stakeholders with a variety of tasks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Housekeeping function
  • Handling and reconciling Petty Cash, Gate- and Book Sale income
  • Maintain contact lists and databases
  • General Administrative duties as and when required
  • Develop and maintain an effective filing system (digital and paper-based)
  • Order office and other operational supplies, inclusive of errands in town and the surrounding area
  • Maintaining the garden visitor supplies, entrance records, and book sales
  • OHS and inventory management
  • Concert admin coordination
  • Website maintenance and after-hours response to queries
  • Attending to visitor liaison and enquiries in person as well as by phone and email.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Code B Driver’s License, own reliable transport, and residing in the Stellenbosch area.
  • Proven experience as an administrator will be advantageous
  • Good numerical skills and the ability to multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Grade 12
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
